Me

I have been battling with this the last few days. I'm really not sure how many people read my blog, but for those of you who do stop by I have a question. Who am I to you? Now I don't mean a friend, cousin... I mean, when you think of Cassie/Kelly (however you know me) what is the first thing that you think of? How would you define me?

TWO

Wow, where do I begin? My little love, I remember when you were just 6 pounds snuggled in my arms. I really do remember it like it was yesterday. My how you have grown. You are so beautiful, so happy, so energetic. So, perfect. You are my perfect little boy. I love how you still love to snuggle with me and let me pretend you are still that tiny baby. I love that you still let me rock you and sing to you. I love how I can actually have a mini conversation with you and when I talk to you you can understand me. I love how very much you love your little sister. I love how happy you have made our home and how much you make us laugh. You are such a funny kid, I can tell you have your Daddy's sense of humor. I love that you love sucker's, (not really, but I love when you ask for them). I love when you call to me from another room. That little voice, saying, "MOM" makes my heart ache every time. I love you my little man, All two years of you Yesterday, today and tomorrow too!
My baby boy turned two today. I am seriously an emotional wreck. I am remembering when I was a little kid and my Mom would stare at us and get all emotional and we'd beg her to stop. I now know what she was feeling. Looking at us as we got bigger each day and wondering where all the time has gone. My Connor is two. He is such a wonderful kid. Of course he has the occasional rage filled melt down, but he really is a great kid. I consider myself a very lucky parent. Happy Birthday my little Connor

Apple Crisp

Another tradition of ours is the apple orchard. This orchard, Kuner's, is one that Patrick and his family have gone to for years for their incredible cider. We went this year to pick apples with the kids. Connor had a blast. This kid loves apples! He was so excited to pick them from the tree and eat them. He was such a big helper putting the apples in the bag when daddy picked them. Jordyn just loved being outside feeling the crisp Fall air. As we left I was so overcome with emotion and couldn't help but cry (happy tears). My family is so much fun! I put a picture of my adorable hubby playing to my incredibly silly Johnny Apple Seed fantasy! He really makes me giggle!

Pumpkin Hunting

If I haven't told you yet, we love Fall in this house. All that goes along with it. I love the falling temperatures, the big bulky sweaters, hot mugs of cider, pumpkins everywhere you go, ghosts on the front lawn, and crunchy leaves. We wanted to begin a tradition in our family of taking the kids to a pumpkin patch to pick out their own pumpkins. We went with our friends the Paratore's to their favorite "haunt" the Red Wagon Farm. It was a brisk 90 degrees, but we had a great time. The kids played in a hay bail, then a hay maze, then we went on a hay ride, had some wonderfully cold cider and then Patrick, my hero, did the pumpkin grab. This is when our big burly husbands get to go into the pumpkin patch and grab as many pumpkins as they can hold. It is much harder than it seems. This was Patrick's first time doing this and he was a tad over zealous in the beginning. He started out with 6 pumpkins, attempted the lift. 5 pumpkins, lift was again attempted, and my strong hubby then attempted 4 pumpkins. The lift was good and we went home with 4 beautiful pumpkins. Now, they have quite a few rules about the lift. No holding stems, and I learned it has nothing to do with strength, but geometry. Trying to balance the pumpkins with their odd shapes is quite difficult. I'm proud of you Patrick. You got us one each to carve. What a fun day we had!

I LOVE FALL

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary my baby! I cannot believe 4 years ago we were married. It was the greatest day of my life. As I think about that statement, I now realize how many greatest days of my life I have experienced with you since that day. I love you more today than I ever thought I could even on that day. You are my... You know what you are to me after 10 years. I love our "US".
Thank you Patrick for your love.

The Jebber's New Home

Well, it is official, we have a new home. Well, not really, but it sure looks new. We Love Love Love it!

Racing Day

Oh Geeze, where do I begin? You are about to see a group of updates to my blog. I have been unable to update with photos because of an "issue" that I am unable to understand at this time. My hubby has been promising to fix it. So I will now update you all on what has been happening in the world of the Jebbers.
Patrick ran in the Akron Marathon! He did wonderful. It was such an exciting day for us. We cheered him on as he ran the 5 person relay. He loved it and is planning on entering more marathons next year. You're my HERO!

Let's Play Ball

Last weekend we took Jiddo to the Akron vs Kent game for his birthday. This was Connor's very first football game and he loved it! We had a great time. As most of you know I went to Kent State and Patrick went to Akron, so we felt it fitting for this to be Connor's and Jordyn's first game. Kent was doing great until we left, then Akron turned it around. I hear we missed a great ending. We had such a great day though!
