Snow Way Baby

Sunday was single handedly one of the best days of my life. I'm pretty sure Patrick feels the same. We took Connor out sledding for the first time and it was magical.
We got Connor and Jordyn completely bundled up to experience this wonderful season we call Winter, Connor was more than willing to continue layering himself in clothing because of the promise of playing in the snow.
When we got there, he the saw the hill and said, "Wow, look Mom a Mountain!" Patrick took him down on the sled the first time and that was all she wrote. One time turned into two, two turned into three, three turned into four and I could continue to go on as Connor continued to say "again" after they reached the bottom.
At one point, the boys were preparing to fly down the mountain again when Connor stood up, turned around to Patrick, wrapped his arms around him and said, "thank you Dad" it was the sweetest thing my eyes have ever seen.
Patrick then taught Connor how to make snow angels. If everything else hadn't made me sappy enough, I heard Connor say to Patrick, "C'mon Daddy... angels." then pulled him down into the snow. While the boys played, Jordyn and I sat next to the car looking like snowbunnies, vowing to each other that next year will be our year. We'll show those boys how to really do it.
It was such a great day, and such a great moment. One of my new favorite memories

Winey Friends

God bless Friends! We decided to get a bit winey today. Today was our second annual (is it annual if you plan to do it as many times per year as possible?) wine day out with the Pamboukis's. Wow is it a ton of fun (even without silly blue hats that 10 year old girls buy for themselves)! We drink and laugh our tushies off! Thanks guys for being the best. Looking forward to the next one.

Daddy's little girl

I LOVE MY DAD!

9

My baby girl is 9 months old! I am in a state of shock. I cannot believe how big she is, when it seems like just yesterday she was a brand new bundle of baby snuggled in my arms. I am not taking her growing up all that well. She is my ultimate. She is such a joy in our lives and I am so lucky that she picked me to be her Mommy. I love her chunky thighs, her dimpled fingers, her humongous bright blue eyes, the cheeks...OOOOHHH the cheeks. The smile that can stop traffic. I'm in love. It really does amaze me that she crawls faster than the speed of light, she is talking (no no no, mama, dada, AH-K)She has the greatest sense of humor, and is so in love with her big brother. She has such a beautiful heart, each time her brother cries, she crawls to him and giggles just to see him smile. I am lucky, so very lucky. Oh yes, and Jordyn...Please don't feel the need to grow up so fast my little angel.

Say What?

Now I know every kid is hilarious in their own special way, and every parent finds their child to be exceptionally funny, so I am about to bore you with my sons sense of humor:

Senario: Jordyn is just waking up:
Connor: Mommy Can I hold it?
Mommy: Sure (sets Jordyn on Connor's lap)
Jordyn: Wahhhhhh
Mommy: Connor Jordyn wants Milk, she just woke up
Connor: (pulling his shirt up to expose his chest) I'll do it, here Jordyn, but no BITE!
Mommy: Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Senario: Mommy and Daddy always dress Connor is colors that Patrick likes, but I got a great deal at old navy on long sleeve t shirts so I bought one in each color. I am putting an orange shirt on Connor.
Mommy: Connor come get dressed
Connor: (comes over to get his shirt on) Oh WOW. Look at that! Cool Shirt!
Mommy: You like that? You like the color?
Connor: Yes!
Mommy: teeeheeeteehee

More to come as I remember them!
