Days 3 and 4

Well, this Friday and Saturday we had our neighborhood garage sale, so I was unable to be totally consistent, but my little man stuck with it.  I put a diaper on him, and he never wet it.  He held it all day, and when we went inside he went on the potty like a big boy!  He did however go during his nap, and over night.  He sure has a full sticker chart.  I'm so proud of my baby boy!

Day 2

Day 2 went well. We had one accident, but he caught himself and peed the rest in the toilet. Are they still supposed to get a sticker if they have an accident, but still go to the bathroom??? I wasn't sure on that one. He got a sticker. I'd hate to discourage him. He still went during nap time, but wore a diaper this afternoon while he played outside with his friends and held it the whole time. Day 2 was a good day! 9 stickers! And an fyi for all you locals: please stop by our neighborhood garage sale tomorrow and Saturday. I'd love to see you!

Day 1

Today was day one of my attempt at potty training.  It was a good day.  Connor got 11 stickers on his potty chart, and wore his Diego underpants all day long (nap time and bed time excluded).  He didn't have one accident all day long.  My big dilemma lies with nap times.  Connor always goes potty in his diaper during naps.  As far as feeling positive about this, I think right now we both do.  My sadness here is that my little man is growing up way too fast.  *sigh*

Bean Town

I made it back from Boston safe and sound. I don't have any pictures yet, because my hubby is there until Wednesday night, so I will post some then.
We had such a wonderful time, I would recommend this city to everyone! On Saturday, we went to Harvard and walked around the campus, it was just so beautiful. We then took a trolley ride through the city, then a tour of the harbor on a huge boat. After that we went to Faneuil Marketplace, went to Cheers and walked around all of the shops. It was such a beautiful day, and it honestly seemed like the day went on forever.
On Sunday, Patrick began his conference, so I spent the day walking around the entire city, It was wonderful. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. I walked past Paul Revere's home where he lived with his 16 CHILDREN! I went and saw Old Ironside, the beautiful cemeteries and little Italy. Seriously the most amazing city!
Patrick and I had such a wonderful time together, but we really missed our babies. We just don't feel complete without them. They make us Family and I am so happy to be home with them.

Leaving on a jet plane

Oh how I love this picture of Connor holding his sissy's hand

Well, Patrick and I have just finished packing for our first trip away from our babies.  We are going to Boston, (I'll be back Monday)(He'll be back Wednesday).  I have been an emotional wreck all week.  Right now I am extremely nauseated, but I'm hoping a glass of water will fix that.  I know how important it is for Patrick and I to do this every once in awhile, so I am going to embrace every moment and know in my heart that my babies will not miss me a bit.  My check list is complete:
House not a complete mess: DONE
laundry: DONE
Clean sheets: DONE
Pack: DONE
Life Insurance: DONE
Kissed my babies 200 times: DONE
See you Monday!

Flashback Friday

So, a little know fact about me...

Not that anyone cares, but I didn't wear a nursing bra today.  It was a sad day for a Happy Mommy.

Word of the Day...Amazing

We went all out for this word of the day!

Our Florida Vacation

A couple of weeks ago the Jebber's of Cuyahoga Falls took our first airplane ride together as a family and we landed in Florida. It was a very short trip, but honestly one of the best we have ever had. Connor had a blast on the airplane, and was fearless when he saw the ocean for the first time. It was so wonderful to spend time with our family. The kids met their cousins and grannie's for the first time and just fell in love. We were able to welcome home Dan (Patrick's cousin who has been serving our country), and just spend some quality time with everyone. Thank you everyone for making us feel so loved and so welcome. We really miss you!

Happy Birthday Princess Jordyn

And Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful Mother's! I am an emotional wreck right now, but am so happy at the same time. Jordyn's birthday was so great. I will tell you all about it later once my iPhoto is working again. Until then, I will use these great pictures from Marie, and share my letter to Jordyn with you.

Happy 1st Birthday Jordyn Kylie Jebber
My baby girl, I cannot believe how very fast this year has gone. It really does seem like just yesterday I was wondering what you would be like. Never did I dream how absolutely spectacular you truly would be. You are a dream come true. You are MY dream come true.
You have the most spirited personality that lights up every room you are in. At one year you are just so very funny. You love to entertain and your sense of humor is greater than the funniest of comics. I love to watch you dance while listening to your favorite Rock and Roll songs. I am still shocked at your choice in music. You also love to sing and you are never shy about jumping right on in while we serenade you.
You love to smile and wave at each and every person you see. You are such the cheerleader as you clap for anyone who you feel is worthy of your praise (which is most people). You are hopelessly in love with your Daddy which I believe makes him the happiest Daddy on the planet. You could never fully know how very much your brother loves you. You are his best friend and he thinks you are just the greatest little person. The two of you bring your Daddy and I so much happiness that I am overwhelmed.
I am amazed each day at your accomplishments. You have taken your first steps, but you feel that crawling gets you to where you want to be faster. You love to talk. Momma, Daddy, dog, Max, this and that, are some of your most used words. You said, “Hi Dad” the other night when your daddy walked into the house. That was so beautiful. You have 5 teeth and you love love love to eat with them. You have such a wonderful appetite, and it makes me giggle to watch you beg for food.
Please don’t try to grow up too fast my little love. Our world is such an interesting, exciting place, and one day very soon you are going to pick up your adorable little feet and you’ll never look back. Please take your time as you take this journey with us, getting to know yourself and loving the person you become. Thank you for being my little girl. Thank you for picking me.
Happy Birthday my Angel. I love you
Mommy
