New Year's Eve 2006

Wow I cannot believe that 2006 is almost over. This year has flown by so fast my head is spinning. This is actually the 1st New Year's Eve in almost 10 years that Patrick and I haven't gone out on the town and played like we're "rock stars" . Being pregnant doesn't allow for much of that and neither does being sick! Yep, my hubby got me sick. He's lucky I love him so much. Being sick and pregnant is such a bummer. This never happened when I was pregnant with Connor. Is there anything I can do to make life a bit more tolerant??
Anyhow, I have to admit, this New Year's Eve was one of the best to date for me. We went to Hibachi Japan for dinner with Mike, Jen and the Kelly family. (Connor loves that place so much, probably because I ate so much of it when I was pregnant with him. ) We had a blast. Great company and great food. We came home and played with Connor's new toys for quite awhile, then we put on our party hats, pulled out our horn blowers and counted down to 2007 at about 8:15. It was quite exciting. (not that you can tell by the photo of Connor screaming at us) Connor loved it because the dogs were hooting and hollering too. I love watching him get excited about things. After we put Connor to sleep, Patrick and I snuggled on the couch for a movie marathon. It was so much fun. We realized that in 2007 we will have been together 10 years and I swear I fall deeper in love with him every day. Almost like he put a spell on me...honey???

Well after our movies, we watched the ball drop (I made it to midnight. Who's proud of me?) and I am absolutely sure Patrick was asleep by 12:08. Happy New Year Everyone!
