This year before we went to see Santa, Connor and I baked cookies. We talked about it and decided to bring Santa a bag of cookies since he works so hard this time of year. While we stood in line, Patrick and I did all we could to talk up the big man and how much fun it would be to sit on his lap. Yeah, Connor wasn't buying it at all. When we finally got up to Santa, Connor walked up to him, handed him the bag of cookies and says..."Just ONE Santa." He obviously thinks Santa could stand to loose a few pounds. I love the honesty! He still talks about Santa eating the cookies every day. I'm sure it doesn't help that the cookie on Shrek the Halls is deathly afraid of him. Connor keeps saying, "Santa. I Scared of him." Poor kid, one day he'll think differently. I am loving the anticipation of the big day. We are having fun singing Christmas Carols and looking at all the fun Christmas lights. I love watching him see all of this for the first time. I can't imagine what my eyes looked like at his age when I was taking it all in. I can only hope they were half as beautiful.
