happy

Today I am proud to be an American. Not that I have not always been proud to be an American, but today I was especially proud. As I sat and watched Obama's inauguration with both my babies on my lap I felt a huge sense of hope for them and their futures. My friends and I were in constant communication all morning long which made the festivities that much more exciting. I have to admit I was choked up on quite a few occasions, but I kept telling Connor that Mommy was most definitely happy. I feel fortunate to have the life that I have and live in this beautiful country. I am proud that I was able to share this historical moment with my children(though they won't remember it as well as I will). Congratulations Mr. President! Congratulations America!

It surely was a beautiful moment!
