Birthday Wishes
Thank you to everyone who sent happy thoughts to me on my birthday. I had a wonderful birthday. To those of you who didn't know this, today was not only my birthday but was also National Peanut Butter Lovers Day! How awesome we share the same day! My celebration actually began last Thursday when my husband bought me a car. You know my Jeep Commander with the hole in the windshield. I think that is a pretty cool gift!!! Then Saturday he threw me a surprise party at Red Lobster. I was shocked. It was a really nice evening, the service was great and my 3 pound lobster was out of this world. For those of you who have been asking for pictures I will post them as soon as I get a few. We didn't bring a camera and the only person toting one was this "uber crazy mama who has to bring along the camera where ever she goes" You know who you are! Last night my Dad and Jenny took Patrick and I to this little restaurant in Kent right on Brady Lake called the Tavern at Twin Lakes. It was really very good. It was a small little place with great views and wonderful crab legs. It was so wonderful to spend my birthday with my wonderful family.
Now about turning 30. I was not a blubbering mess because of any other reason than that number (30) has always sounded old to me. I don't do well with birthday's in the first place. I am a very sentimental person, and a new year always has made me teary eyed. I actually am happier than I have ever been and I am so happy to be at this point in my life at 30. I have the most amazing family, my husband is the greatest man alive and he loves me so very much. My son is the most amazing little man I know. He brings us more happiness than we ever thought possible and we have our beautiful little girl coming in just a couple months. Really, could it be any better? Not for me.
