Amazing

It truly is amazing how God works in our life. This past week has been very hard on me physically and emotionally. I am pretty sure I cried 85% of the weekend. It feels as though all of my patience has run dry and Monday was just torture for me. Connor wined practically the whole day because he wanted to go outside and play(thanks Dad), but it is so hard for me to do that because 1) I have the worst cramp in my right foot that will not go away and 2) I have so much to do still before Friday. I try and get Connor out a bit each day, but later on in the afternoon, because once we're out it is torture coming back in. Anyhow, just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore Marissa called and asked me to come pick her up while her car was getting an oil change. I know I heard angels singing. She is awesome, and I really don't think she understands how much she really helped. She played with Connor and wore him out while I got some stuff done and showered. It was fantastic. Then, Melinda came over and watched Connor while Patrick and I went to dinner. She has been such a huge help for us and we love her bunches. Then as Tuesday morning was shaping up to be a repeat of Wine with me Monday, my Dad stopped by completely unexpectedly and asked to take Connor for a couple hours while he ran his errands. Holy Cow was I elated. I was able to get some cleaning done and I sat and enjoyed a glass of water on the couch. I really cannot stress enough how great my family is. They have no idea how much their little efforts really mean to me, and I just want to thank them and tell them how wonderful they are! And God, thank you for these wonderful people!
