18 Months

My little man turned 18 months old today. I am in shock. I had a baby a year and a half ago and will have another in my arms in 2 weeks. He is going to be a great big brother. I cannot get over the individual that he has become. Each day he amazes me over and over with the person he is. I think of him just a few months back and am in awe of all that he has learned in such a short period of time. He speaks all of the time now and I love that he can communicate with me. I would love to list all of the words he now says, but my blog would be jammed. I know he is saying over 40 words and that may be more, I just haven't written them all down. He uses sentences (3 words) and it is so cute. He totally understands us which is great. If I tell him to go grab his milk he goes right to it and gets it. He loves to play outside and in his bedroom. He has completely fallen out of love with TV and loves his books now. He actually turns the TV off if we try to put it on. His best friend is Max. Whenever I ask if he wants to go play in his room he says "ok", then yells "Max" so Max will come and play too. It is so cute! He is so independent when he wants to be. When we go outside, he will walk himself to the car if we are leaving or if we are going for a wagon ride he will climb on in and get himself ready to go. I tell him every day no matter how much of a big boy he is, that he will always be my baby. I sure hope that's ok for him!
Patrick and I have never laughed so hard than we do with Connor. He is constantly entertaining us and I thank God every day that our home is so filled with that laughter. Connor has the most beautiful soul of anyone I know. He is so happy and wonderful, and wherever we go, he makes people smile by saying "hello" and "goodbye" to them as we pass. I cannot express how much this little man has changed us and how grateful we are for that. I am so excited for his sister to get here and learn from him and grow up with him, and watch them turn into the very best of friends.

It's been 18 months already? Oye, time flies. Soon there be another wee leetle baby Jebber to blog about as well.
