We had such a great weekend, and this week seemed to drag on, but it is now Saturday yet again and I can sit and look back at how much fun we had while Patrick's Mom and sister Michelle were in town. It was so nice to have them here, and we always go into a bit of a family depression when they leave. Connor cannot get enough of Grandma, he just follows her around like a little duckling. He had fun picking up an accent while they were here too. It is so strange, for months now he has been saying bye bye, but on Monday he began speaking with a southern accent. When Patrick's Mom was leaving he looked at them and said "bah" and waved. He sounds like a little Texan. Now he proudly says "bah" every time someone is leaving. No idea why, but I think it's a little funny. On Monday, Patrick took the day off to spend with the family and we went to Legacy Village so he could go to the Apple store, we were bummed they didn't have any new cell phones out on display. We had dinner at the Cheesecake factory. The service was terrible, but the food was ok and the cheesecake was divine. We are getting ready for some big changes in our house. Nate, the painter was here last night to talk about Jordyn's room and wow are we excited to get that done!! I have a meeting with our kitchen people on Wednesday to make the final arrangements before they begin demolition on our kitchen. Just an FYI I will be without any kitchen and laundry for over a month. UGH! Well, off to eat again. "Bah"
