Our First Family Trip

http://web.mac.com/twomonsters/theJebbers/Chicago_Photos.html

Well, the Jebber's officially took our first trip as a family. We went to Chicago a couple of weekends ago and had a blast. I would have blogged about it sooner, but man is it time consuming having two little ones.
We did have a great time. I planned the trip so that Connor would stay entertained as much as possible. We went to the Lincoln Park Zoo (Did you know it's free to get in?) We went to the Children's Museum and Navy Pier. We went to a great restaurant called Minis, and all they serve there are mini drinks and mini food. Very cool for kids of all sizes. We also went to a chocolate bar and had fondue for desert. We were shown a great time by our friends Tim and Megan. It was great seeing the city from their eyes, because they know all the great little places to go that most people just visiting wouldn't. We also ate dinner in Greek town and it was wonderful. Except for the barf! Nasty story, I won't bore you with it! The kids were so great on this trip. Connor was a total dream, and Jordyn, well she always is. We ran so much each day that Connor didn't have time to get cranky. The drive was a bummer because of traffic, but we managed and it was just wonderful. I can't wait til out next trip together. I'll post a couple of pictures, but will also post a link to the complete Chicago gallery.

I am loved

No matter what is said or done, I know I am loved. My hubby loves me and lets me know he appreciates me, even when my life feels otherwise. The other night we were sitting down and he looked at me and said thank you. He thanked me for giving my all to raise our family and he reassured me that he feels I am doing a great job. It's nice to know how much he appreciates me. It's amazing after all these years how much I love him and thank God for what we have. Thanks honey for giving your all for us.
This is an oldie but a goodie!

Presenting...

I am having to do double duty on my blogging because I have not been able to update for about a week. ( Scroll down if you've missed some. I added one with pics of Jordyn) So much going on, it's fun and crazy. I love being busy, my house suffers, but life seems more fun when I don't worry so much about the house work. So our baby girl was baptized and she was so wonderful I was beaming with pride the whole time. She just was so happy and content in her God Mommy's arms. Connor entertained the crowd while the service was going on. I love natural born entertainers. Jordyn's God Mommy is so happy to have a girl, she's been talking about all the girlie things they plan on doing in the years to come. Our children are so lucky to have God Parents who love them so much. It was such a great day, the party after was so nice, Dad and Jenny always do such a good job. Thanks to everyone.

the Jebbers in the Windy City

Hello everyone!! We're back from the windy city and it's nice to be home. Love Chicago. Hate the traffic. You know what they say...home is where the heart is.

Thought you all might like a photo snapshot from the Children's Museum at Navy Pier. Cassie will post more later...

Love ya.
