DINOSe Are the Best!

I love my fam. They're the greatest. When I look at photos of them...I think, "man, I am so darn katookin lucky!" I know what you're thinking. Who cares! We ALL love our families. But that's what is so great about having family. It's yours and you can love the crap out of it if you want. As a matter of fact, I think Cassie and I have loved the crap out of Connor and Jordyn on more than one occasion...but that's another story.

On Sunday we went to All Fired Up, a local business in Fairlawn that lets you paint some ceramic stuff that you'll probably break within a few days. It's pretty economical, but more importantly, it's a darn katookin good time. We had a blast...and Connor painted his first Dino. Okay. Okay. He started painting and I finished it. Hey, he's working on his follow through...OKAY?!!

Check out the dino. It's pretty cool, if I do say so myself. Plus, it's a limited edition, 1 of 1.

Mommy Nose Best

So this is how it goes:
Connor says Mom, raisin in nose. I say no Connor don't put raisins in your nose. Wait, Connor did you put a raisin in your nose? Connor says, yeah. I say Connor let me take a look in your nose. *screams* Connor please just sit still so I can see up your nose. *wham* *wham* (the sound of snot covered raisins flying out of my sons nose as he is screaming.) Connor please honey let Mommy look up in your nose to see if you have any more raisins. *SCREAMS* *LOUDER SCREAMS* *WHAM* (more snot covered raisins in case you were wondering). As I am sitting on top of him with a q tip, a bulb asperator and my finger pleading with him to just let me look, we continue on with the *Screams* and a final *wham* right past my head. Connor is there still a raisin in your nose? Connor says yeah, I say let me look one more time. Connor says no Mommy, all gone. More Soup? So, the point of the story is...What happens if there are still raisins up there. Can he suck them into his brain?? I'm freaking out! He's a sticker! You know one of those kids who sticks things places. UGH!

Happy Birthday Honey

Patrick,
I know this is a couple days late, but Wow is it hard to find time for us anymore or WHAT? I just want to wish you the happiest year yet. More than anyone I know, you deserve it. I know 31 really leaves much to be desired in terms of not really being a monumental number, but I look back over the last 10 years and how much you have accomplished it just makes me so proud to be your wife. You are by far the greatest man I know. You are the best husband, the most incredible father and your soul is the most beautiful I have ever encountered. Thank you for all you do, for all you sacrifice. Thank you for your love, for your friendship, for your hugs. Thank you for choosing me.

My Dilema

Ok, so as many of you know I have never been without my babies. When I was in the hospital with Jordyn my Dad and Jenny had Connor, but I at least saw him everyday. Patrick and I have the opportunity to go on a cruise in November for 8 days, and I am just sick over it. I know how wonderful an 8 day cruise would be for us (Patrick will be working most of the time). Would I enjoy myself or would I go crazy missing my babies. I honestly think I could handle 4 days away (Connor will be 3 Jordyn will be 1 1/2)But missing 8 days of their lives? How could I forgive myself.

Happy New Year

What a wonderful year 2007 was for us. It makes me sad to say goodbye, but I am just that much more excited for 2008. I do actually have quite a few resolutions for myself this year that I will do all that I can to stick with! Here it goes:
1. Make my family GREEN! I will begin to make our lifestyle much more Earth friendly.
2. Be a better wife and mother
3. Make out with my husband on a regular basis
4. Not go to bed without washing my face and brushing my teeth
5. Eat healthier and get back into shape
6. Work out at least 4 times a week
7. Shower at least 4 times a week (this may make some of you freak out, but there is nothing more challenging for me to do than take a shower with these kids tearing around the house)
8. Begin organizing better (this one's for you Patrick)
9. Make my bed every day
10. Get Connor potty trained
