Soooo...Here is a picture by picture overview of our afternoon. Forgive me, I haven't blogged in awhile, I got a tad picture happy. Not to mention I had so much fun I just couldn't take not putting everything in!
Weeeeeee! "That's what you say when you're having fun. You refer to yourself and...some other people." (Blog entry below) PS. That quote is for you Marie!

Get Ready!

Get Set!

GO!
Jordyn's first time sledding

She was such a trooper climbing the hill

I know they're thinking they're going to win just because
they are boys

Doing it all by herself

Giving me a heart attack

Pretending she was scaling a mountain

Carrying his sled up all by himself

Big brother and baby sister screaming down the hill together

Following him like a baby duckling

They raced each other. I'm pretty sure it was a tie!

My angel

Made a great angel

Chilly the snowman
Predictable self portrait of "us"

Love Note in the Snow
Today I begged Patrick to stay home with us and have a
family day. I wanted to do something fun, just the 4 of us that did not include being home. So
I decided we would go
... SLEDDING!With a sour face, Patrick loaded the car with the sleds and we headed on out to "our" little hill at the park. I'll tell you what! He didn't have a sour face once he saw how darn excited his babies were sledding down the hill. I think he forgot for a moment how wonderful it was sledding with
Connor last year.
This year...Even better! This time it was
boys against
girls. Jordyn was a riot! Fearless! She allowed me to take her down the hill her first few times, but once she got the hang of it we walked up the hill together, she looked up at me and said, "I DO IT!" After that, there was no going back. The girl was hooked. She was speeding down that hill racing her equally fearless brother and
squealing in complete delight.
Patrick and I just stood in complete amazement. They are both growing up so fast, and I feel like I am losing control of how fast it is going. I want to freeze these moments and allow myself to experience them over and over and over again. I have a feeling if this snow sticks for a few more weeks we'll be going again this winter. They,
, are a blast, and I can't wait to see them enjoy it again.
