Checklist
I am going to steal an idea from Charissa and blog about my checklist of things I have to do before I give birth on May 11th! I'll put my checklist for Patrick on here too!!! I'll check things off the list as we go. We have got to get moving.
Patrick:

Paint Jordyn's walls
Paint ceiling mark
Paint trim for around window
Put up trim around window (check)
Buy trim for floor
Buy bar for closet

Buy toe kicks for the floor of her room
Paint trim and toe kicks
Put them all on
Put in the rubber backing in the closet (check)
Put knobs into her new dresser
Take all paint out of her closet and move to attic
Bring all baby things out to wash
clean crib
put together crib
wash windows in Jordyn's room and upsatairs
Cassie:
Pack hospital bag ( I know I can't believe it's not done yet)
Clean house (almost daily)
keep up on laundry (almost daily)
clean Connor's room
Clean out Connor's drawers and closet (check)
Clean out shelves in Connor's closet
Clean out all of Connor's old clothes tubs to give to his new cousins (almost check)

Clean out Connor's Diaper bag to make room for Jordyn
Put all of the baby things into Jordyn's room
Wash all of the baby things like bouncer/swing...
Wash baby clothes and put away things that will fit her now (check)
Wash bedding
Get office ready for Grandma to come and make sure she is comfortable
Get house/room ready for Grandpa and Grandma Jenny to stay here
Write out instruction list for Dad and Jenny
Buy Connor a swing set for back yard
Make food for Patrick to put in the freezer so he doesn't go hungry while I am recovering (he has requested)
burgers stuffed with mozzarella and feta
stroganoff
lasagna roll ups
pesto chicken salad
Clean out my closet
Completely clean our bedroom from ceiling to floor
Buy this little girl everything. She doesn't even have 1 drawer full of clothes yet. No sheets, no window treatments, no decorations for her walls. I feel like we haven't done anything for her. My poor little girl. I hope she understands.

Cassie - It always seems as though there is so much to do, but, the only really important thing that Jordyn needs is your love (and her room) everything else is secondary. She won't know that the trim isn't done, if it doesn't get done, she won't know that your room isn't clean, if you don't get to it, and she won't know if your closet and linen closet aren't clean, if you don't get them done. She will know that she is loved every single minute of every single day, that will get done by all three of you, I am sure!!! It's a pity, though, I will have to admit, that the second one does seem to suffer somewhat, I would be willing to bet that Connor gets more gifts than Jordyn, only because everyone will be thinking he will be jealous. I remember that's how it was with Marissa, everyone was afraid that Hayley would be upset if she saw Marissa getting so much "stuff". We are all so excited for you.
Love, Aunt Mary Ann

Wow - that makes my lists look dumb. I was even giving myself high fives for doing my sheets yesterday. Hmmm....
